Lenta IFRS net profit plummets 79.9% in July–September
MOSCOW, Oct 23 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian grocery retailer Lenta slid by 79.9% on the year to 258 million rubles in July–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Monday.
Revenue grew by 7.3% on the year to 135.988 billion rubles in the period. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) fell by 6.7% to 7.043 billion rubles.
In January–September, the company posted a net loss of 2.146 billion rubles after a net profit of 4.643 billion rubles in the same period of 2022.
